Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HueCommand ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

HueCommand is a third-party application that provides control and automation of Philips Hue smart lighting products. The App communicates with Philips Hue Bridge hardware over your local network and, optionally, via the Philips Hue Remote API.

Requirements

• A compatible Philips Hue Bridge (v2 or later)
• An iPhone or iPad running iOS 17.0 or later
• A local Wi-Fi network shared with your Hue Bridge
• An Apple ID for App Store purchases

Subscriptions & Purchases

HueCommand offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions and one-time purchases. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are displayed before purchase and governed by Apple's terms.

You may manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID settings.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is the property of the developer and is protected by copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-Party Trademarks

Philips Hue is a trademark of Signify Holding. HueCommand is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Signify or Philips. All third-party trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all hardware configurations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Unintended changes to your lighting configuration
• Interruption of smart home automations
• Incompatibility with future Philips Hue firmware updates
• Loss of data or settings

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your local network and Hue Bridge. You agree not to use the App to interfere with devices you do not own or have authorization to control.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or third parties.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
