Schedule Philips Hue Lights Throughout the Day

Plan your entire day's lighting with a visual timeline — from morning to night.

Plan Your Day's Lighting in One Place

The official Hue app lets you create individual automations one at a time. You set a timer here, a routine there, and hope they don't overlap. There's no way to see your full day's lighting at a glance.

HueCommand's Day Planner gives you a visual timeline where you lay out your entire day's lighting in one view. See every scene, every transition, every time slot — all on a single screen. It's the difference between managing a list of disconnected alarms and looking at a calendar.

How It Works

Building a day plan is straightforward:

A typical day plan might look like this: Energize at 7:00 AM to wake up, Focus at 9:00 AM for deep work, Bright at 12:00 PM for midday, Relax at 6:00 PM for the evening, and Dim at 10:00 PM for bedtime. Set it once, and your lights follow the plan every day.

Smooth Transitions Between Scenes

Nobody wants their lights to snap from bright white to warm orange at exactly 6:00 PM. With Day Planner, you set fade durations between scenes so your lights gradually shift from one scene to the next.

Set a 30-minute fade on your morning scene and wake up to a slow sunrise simulation instead of harsh lights flipping on. Set a 15-minute fade into your evening scene and watch your home gently wind down as the day ends.

Per-Room Schedules

Your office and your living room shouldn't follow the same schedule. With Day Planner, you can create different day plans for different rooms.

Each room runs its own schedule independently. Your whole home adapts to your daily rhythm.
